NEW in Christ

How can we know with certainty that we are IN Christ? By examining our self in this light - 

"If any man is IN Christ, he is a NEW CREATION - old things are passed away - ALL THINGS are become NEW!"

Are we seeing others in a New light, with a fresh love and new mercies? 

Are we seeing New opportunities for service to strengthen areas where the church is weak? 

Are we tasting new joys in prayer as we long for others to enjoy the same rich grace we are receiving? 

Are we abounding in a New hope in the midst of the same difficulties we are faced with today? 

Are we sensing a New strength to stand against the spiritual forces of evil we must wrestle? 

Are we being filled with a New sense of thanksgiving for the daily mercies and kindness that Jesus makes to abound to us each day? 

Are we being changed into new degrees of His holy character and likeness? 

Are we receiving new understanding into the riches of His wisdom and knowledge? 

Are we experiencing a New sense of awe at just how good, great, and gentle our perfect heavenly Father and loving Brother are? 

Those who are IN Christ Jesus are experiencing His New mercies, new revelations, new freedoms and new hopes for themselves and for others. If things have become old and stale, perhaps we have lost connection with our spiritual fountain of life. If we have, let's come to Him again and let Him DO A NEW WORK!
