God IS LIGHT!

THIS is the message we heard from the very beginning - "God IS light!"  In fact, this message is the very first word God spoke -

 

"LET THERE BE LIGHT!"  

What does the message mean?  It means God wants to be seen and known!  He is not trying to conceal Himself from men.  The heavens declare His glory, the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day the message is declared.  Night after night His knowledge is displayed.  The  wisdom of God reaches every place on earth, His words are heard in every corner where men live. He sends out wisdom to preach every day in all the places men congregate, at every intersection where the masses meet, wisdom cries aloud to all mankind to come hear and see!  Jesus also made it very clear that He was not trying to keep anything a secret; He said  - "which of you light a lamp to place it under a cover"!  The answer is obvious -  No one does this!  It is just as clear that God is light and He wants all men to see His light! Jesus said "There is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be made known and brought out into the open."  Jesus is the light that came into the world to light EVERY MAN!  The message from the beginning has  always been VISIBLE - so OBVIOUS that it has actually become THE VERDICT!   "This IS THE JUDGMENT- LIGHT HAS COME  into the world  - BUT MEN LOVED DARKNESS more than light."  Why is this?  God wants to be known, He IS light and there is no darkness in Him.  Why can't men see Him?  Why is He not found by them?  BECAUSE their deeds are evil; this is why they hate the light and WILL NOT COME INTO IT!   They do not want to be seen in the LIGHT of who GOD IS!  They simply do not want to see Him!   They have closed their eyes so as not to see. They have stopped their ears so as not to hear.  

The message has been clear from the beginning, LET THERE BE LIGHT!  The question for us then is - WILL WE LOVE THE  LIGHT AND WALK IN IT?   If we will walk in the light as He is in the light, we will have fellowship with with one another.  

God is not trying to hide; His message from the beginning is LET THERE BE LIGHT!  Men are the ones trying to a hide from the light so that the darkness will cover their evil deeds.  Everyone who does truth comes into the light - ALL who receive the love of the truth - LOVE THE LIGHT AND WALK IN IT!
