When
the Lord is our shepherd - we SHALL NOT WANT - but we will FEAST!
He spreads a feast before us - a feast of grace richer than we can
ever fully imagine. He makes His grace abound to us and we
feast on His word.
He makes His grace abound to us and we feast
on fellowship. He so richly provides for us that we have more
than we need for ourselves and plenty left over to share the riches
of His grace with others.
When the Lord is our shepherd
our heads are anointed with the oil of joy. This causes sorrow
and mourning to flee away.
Our cup of blessing starts
spilling over. When the Lord is our shepherd, we not only have great
things set BEFORE us, we even have goodness and mercy following
BEHIND us.
WOW! Talk about loving life and seeing GOOD
DAYS - this is the life when the Lord is our shepherd. How then
do we become one of the Lord's sheep?
It's simple, Jesus said
"My sheep hear My voice and they follow Me."
The Lord is the good shepherd to everyone who follows Him and He came
to lead us to the feast set before us and the oil of joy upon our
heads. The closer
we are to the shepherd, the closer we are to the feast!
