Darkness or Light...

From Proverbs 15 this morning - "Al necio le divierte su falta de juicio..." translated - "the fool enjoys his lack of judgment."

The NIV reads this way, "Folly delights a man who lacks judgment." Taking pleasure in unrighteousness rather than receiving the love of the truth is the basis of God's righteous judgment. This is the condemnation, that men loved darkness more than light because their deeds were evil.

Everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come towards the light in order that his deeds will not be reproved (exposed as evil). Those who enjoy their lack of judgment are in danger of God sending them a strong delusion in order to cause them to believe the lies they are enjoying.

God disciplines those He loves and scourges everyone He receives as a son. God witholds discipline from those who despise correction because of their enjoyment of their own lack of judgment.

Fools hate wisdom and discipline. Woe to those who enjoy what God abhors, who call evil good and good evil, and call darkness light and light darkness.

Jesus was annointed with the oil of joy above His companions because He loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; the deception of fools is their enjoyment of evil.

Wise men take pleasure in the things pleasing to God, fools enjoy whatever is pleasing to themselves and are not interested in God's concerns.
