Two Powerful Dynamics...

God's covenant with Abraham involved two powerful dynamics!  The first dynamic was "faith" of which Abraham is our father and through which he so pleased God that Yahweh reckoned Abraham's faith to  him as righteousness. The second dynamic of this covenant expresses the desire God has for all who enter into covenant with Him - this dynamic is His will for us to  "BE BLAMELESS!"  Yahweh told Abraham to "walk before Me and be blameless!"    This is the only true evidence of our living in covenant with a holy and pure God.  His holy nature can not endure a relationship with men who are being corrupted by evil or wickedness. The covenant Yahweh entered into with Israel was nullified because "God found BLAME with the people"!   Israel did not walk before Yahweh in the blameless way that He desired, so He annulled that covenant with them and has now established another.  The New Covenant is based upon the same two dynamics of God's eternal  covenant with Abraham - FAITH and A BLAMELESS WALK!  

New Covenant believers are told to "do everything without complaining or arguing that we might become BLAMELESS and PURE children of God.."!   Paul so understood God's desire for this that he wrote to the Thessalonians - "And may the Lord make you to abound in love for one another and for all people...so that He may establish your hearts BLAMELESS in HOLINESS before God our Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His holy ones."  Paul knew that this is an impossible task for men - UNLESS THEY BELIEVE,  - so he later wrote - "Now MAY THE GOD OF PEACE HIMSELF sanctify you completely; and may your whole SPIRIT, SOUL, and BODY BE PRESERVED BLAMELESS at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ"!  He who calls you is faithful and HE WILL DO IT!  This is the only reason BEING BLAMELESS is very possible - because God's finishing work in us will be so thorough that He will not rest until we are completely blameless in spirit, soul, and body!  

A blameless life is therefore the truest indicator of a dynamic faith - because men who genuinely believe know that GOD "CAN" and "WILL" finish what HE BEGAN!   Because God Himself will DO IT - we will BECOME BLAMELESS before Him - if we truly believe!
