Has
Christ become of "none effect"? He became of "none
effect" to those Galatian believers who had begun in the Spirit
but had left the first love of "simplicity of devotion to
Christ." But has Jesus become of "none effect" to us?
Are we experiencing the FULL EFFECT of His joy making our joy full?
Is the effect of the abundant life He came to bring unmistakably
evident in our spiritual life now? Have we lost a vibrant connection
with our Lord? Is our joy FULL like His, unspeakable and full of
glory? Are we experiencing His peace flowing like a river welling up
within us?
We know in our head that all of God's fullness dwelt
bodily in Christ, but are we experiencing the effect of being made
complete in every area as God intended from Christ dwelling in us?
Are we effectually being enabled to do "all things through
Christ who is strengthening us"?
OR
Is there a disconnect
between the faith we profess and the "effect" we
experience? Is all the dynamic grace of Christ powerfully working in
us or have we succomed to a state where His abundant grace is no
longer "effectually at work"?
The question is worth
answering honestly - has Christ become of "none effect" or
is His grace powerfully at work in me today? He has not changed, but
have I lost connection with Him? Is it I "can" do all
things thru Christ or I "could" at one time?
